Asia Anesthesia Forum(AAF)開催のご挨拶
Dear members of the Japanese Society of Reanimatology,
First of all, as President of the Asia Anesthesia Forum (AAF), I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the 44th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Reanimatology (JSR).
AAF consists of the Boards of Directors, Anesthesiologists, and Experts from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan and India.
AAF has been collaborating and working to improve the quality and standards of anesthesia practice across Asia.
AAF’s catch phrase is “Driving Anesthesia Outcomes and Effectiveness in Asia”.
Every year, AAF has been running scientific programs and workshops on Anesthesia Practice in collaboration with regional societies and medical institutions in Asian countries, with the support of Medtronic.
All AAF members, including myself, are thrilled and honored to participate in the 44th annual meeting of the JSR this year.
At the same time, we feel a tremendous responsibility to contribute to the success of the annual meeting. Topics covered by AAF will include the clinical utility and application of processed-EEG and near-infrared spectral oximetry, as well as airway management. The program will also add topics related to anesthesia that have recently gained attention. I hope that the AAF program contributes to making the annual meeting more enriching, constructive, and impactful.
On behalf of all AAF members, I wish great success for the upcoming annual meeting of the JSR, and I once again thank the members of the Japanese Society of Reanimatology for welcoming us.

日本蘇生学会 会員の皆様へ,
まず最初に，アジア麻酔フォーラム（Asia Anesthesia Forum: AAF）の理事長として，日本蘇生学会（JSR）第44回大会と合同開催する機会を賜りましたことに対し，心より感謝申し上げます。
AAFは，韓国，日本，中国，タイ，マレーシア，シンガポール，インドネシア，ベトナム，台湾，インドの麻酔科医，専門家から構成されています。これまで，AAFはアジアにおける麻酔医療の質と基準の向上を目指して，協力と取り組みを続けています。AAFのキャッチフレーズは「アジアにおける麻酔医療の成果と効果の向上」です。
毎年，AAFはアジア各国における地域学会や医療機関との協力のもと，メドトロニック社の支援を受けて，麻酔実践に関する科学的プログラムとワークショップを開催しています。私を含めたAAFのメンバーは，今年度開催予定のJSR第44回大会に参加できることを大変嬉しく思うと共に光栄に感じております。同時に，JSR第44回大会の成功に貢献する責任を強く感じています。
AAFが取り上げるテーマには，processed-EEGと近赤外分光酸素飽和度測定の臨床的有用性と応用および気道管理が含まれます。プログラムには，最近注目されている麻酔関連テーマも取り入られています。これらのAAFのプログラムが，JSR第44回大会をより充実した，建設的で影響力のあるものにすることを願っています。
AAFの全メンバーを代表し，JSR年次大会の成功を祈念すると共に日本蘇生学会の皆様の温かいご歓迎に改めて感謝申し上げます。
日本でお会いすることを楽しみにしています。
